EcoVision Prototype Launched at the Ecovillage at Currumbin

EcoVision Solutions has commissioned a prototype resource monitoring and control system at the Interpretive Centre Ecovillage at Currumbin. The system provides the ability to track real time energy consumption attributable to lighting, water pumping and general power as well as the output of a 2kW photvoltaic array at the village entrance. It can also reduce energy wasteage through automatic control of lights and other appliances according to pre set parameters.
The EcoVision 5000 system is a first in real time resource monitoring and will also track rain water collection and recycled water consumption. Plots of all usages can be viewed on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis and help educate visitors understand energy and water consumption in the Ecovillage Interpretive Centre.
